An IIT Madras start-up, Zedbee was born as Swadha Energies in 2015 focusing on the energy efficiency of HVAC systems. The decision to transition into Building Management systems was made easy by the burgeoning tech industry and the absolute lack of efficient Building Management Systems in India. We are on the cloud about it!

Ashok Jhunjhunwala

Prof.Junjunwala has played an important role as the advisor at each stage of Zedbee’s growth. He is a fount of knowledge, with a keen insight which he has been generously sharing with us and all young start-ups. His contribution has been invaluable and will continue to be.

Institute Professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras at Chennai, India. Prof. Jhunjhunwala is considered a pioneer in nurturing Industry-Academia interaction in India towards R&D, Innovation and Product Development. He conceived and built India’s first university-affiliated business park (IIT Madras Research Park). He has been developing products for masses; affordable yet technically advanced products in India, like Wireless in Local Loop, Remote health monitoring system, ATM, Solar-DC to homes, Affordable electric vehicles, etc.
