What is the reason for concern?

Air Conditioners have been around for a century and a half. Luxury to some, a necessity to others. Either way, the side effects cannot be ignored. It has become a global case of concern, especially recently. It is a fact that a significant portion of the energy consumption in the world is dedicated to temperature regulation buildings, with commercial venues taking the lead. The concern is as follows.

From the point of view of the environment: Increasing pollution in the atmosphere. Climate change, increase in sea levels and extreme weather. Global warming is stated to be responsible for freezing temperatures across the US and record warm temperatures in other parts of the world.

From the point of view of the individual user: Increased use cause air filters to lose integrity thereby triggering allergies. Consumes a lot more electricity causing financial strain. Moreover, these systems cannot localise comfort and convenience. Lack of smart systems and sensors mean facility managers have to control the temperatures in the building manually. This includes firing on and off the building’s air handlers, boilers, and chillers.

This is where we come in.

We, at ZedBee Technologies, have infused artificial intelligence with the equipment to create smart and efficient utilization of energies. Our intelligent HVAC systems take care of two associative issues: Energy savings and localised comfort.

How does it work?

ZedBee’s HVAC systems consist of an integrated network of sensors and Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes which provide feedback to Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). It simultaneously decides on how to control fan speeds and chill water supply, resulting in energy savings. The system also enables decentralised control within a centralised HVAC system. The system has embedded software which governs all activities of centralised air conditioning systems. Our business focus is ternary, to contrive, automatise, and edify the sphere of energy conservation.

Our happy customers

Our customers speak for us. And they can tell you what it is like to have a smart system taking care of the mundane activities for them. Some of them are IITMRP, Indian Bank, HDFC, ICICI, IIT Mumbai, Jaipur Vidhan Sabha, Delhi Railway Bhawan, Express Mall, SP Infocity Chennai, Tata Communication. Some prospects who are about to sign the dotted line with us include HPCL, Sathyam Cinemas, ITC Grand Chola, Cognizant, Reserve Bank of India, TRIL.

Our current project

There is a lot of research going on concerning greener cooling systems to save the environment and be friendly on your budgets. Our study is on similar grounds. We are working on running domestic air conditioners using solar power entirely at variable speed. The most significant advantage being minimum consumption from the power grid.

We have extended this option to running agricultural pumps at variable speed using solar power as well. This prevents over pumping and conservation of water. The grid feeding mechanism enables the farmers to feed excess energy to the grid from solar panel thus providing them with a secondary source of income. This gives them an incentive to save water as every drop saved ensures the saved solar power to be fed indirectly into the grid, thereby earning money.

PMSM Motor controls

The future of intelligent motors lies in PMSM Motor controls. With easy installation and maintenance, the most significant advantage is higher efficiencies. We are proud to tell you that we will be the first in the country to develop sensorless motor controls for PMSM motors. The applications are: Electric vehicles, Elevators, Escalators, Domestic appliances, Air Conditioners etc.

The future

This is what the smart buildings of the future will look like. Our devices will store a wealth of data that the facility managers can use to track instantly and utilise productively. Sensing, analysing and real-time automation at your fingertips.

Let’s optimize your enterprise for
better performance and efficiency now!
